I could not have asked for a better experience. Eugene was transparent on everything that needed done and they had the car in and out quickly. Seems trivial but Eugene texting me since my cell service was bad. I hope to not have to have any car work done again soon but will definitely be back. Great experience! quotes-image

I came to Accu Auto after having a bad experience with another shop. I don’t want any trouble, so I won’t name them. Let’s just call them a totally made up fictional name like “Vitzjerald” for the purpose of this review. I took my Silverado to Vitzgerald for an engine light, and they said it was a bad evap vent solenoid. So they replaced it for $433 parts and labor. I drove the truck home. The very next time I drove the truck, the engine light came on again. So I drove back to Vitzjerald and asked what was going on. They scanned the code and said it was something different, and would cost more to fix. That did not pass the sniff test with me. So I started looking for another shop and I chose Accu Auto because of the good reviews, even though I live about 15 miles away. They scanned the code and said it was the exact same problem as before - the evap vent solenoid. They replaced it. Only took a day to get my truck back. They showed me the part they took out. They indicated it is possibly not an OEM part. They also showed me that the bracket which comes with the part as part of an assembly when ordered new was rusted. So this indicates that Vitzjerald did one of three things: 1. They might have put in a junkyard part, 2. They ordered a non-OEM part that wasn’t a complete assembly and used my old bracket, or 3. They never actually replaced the part, just reset the code, and charged me as if they’d done the work. Thanks to Accu Auto, my truck runs great with no code. The repair was a little more, $499. But with the information I now have, I am going to go back to Vitzjerald and demand a refund. I will be taking all my vehicles to Accu Auto from now on.quotes-image
